GNS S77 Neutral Silicone Sealant is a cost effective multi-purpose, neutral cure silicone sealant offering long term durability in range of general sealing, general glazing, water proofing and trade applications.

FEATURES

STORAGE AND SHELF LIFE
12 months from manufacture date when store in cool dry locations below 25ºC, keep away from heat source and direct sunlight during storage.

APPLICATION
Cut seal on top of cartridge. Screw on nozzle and cut the nozzle at 45°angle to the desired shape and size. For better appearance, cover outside of joint areas with masking tapes before application. Tool immediately after sealant application and remove masking tape before sealant skins
SURFACE PREPARATION
Clean all grease, dirty, water, clunky sealant from surface, accessories and protective coatings and any pollutant left inside joints and sunken parts. For best results wipe all surfaces with GNS cleaner, methylated spirits, use a lint free cloth, then wipe again with a dry lint free cloth. Detergent or soap water treatments are not recommended.
COMPATIBILITY TESTING
Incompatibility of glazing materials can lead to sealant discoloration and/ or loss of adhesion. To help protect against these problems and to ensure compatibility, GNS will also test and provide information on the compatibility of accessory materials (gaskets, spacers, etc.) and other GNS silicone sealants.




Caution
Uncured silicone can irritate eyes and skin. If contact is made with eyes, flush with water for 15 minutes and seek medical advice. Use in well ventilated area and keep out of reach for children.
LIMITATIONS

1.   Not recommended for use on structural application.
2.   Do not use in the manufacture of Insulated Glass (IG) Units.
3.   Do not use when substrate temperature is above 50ºC or surfaces that are plasticizers, oily, greasy, dusty or dirty.
4. Do not use for painted surfaces, otherwise may cause seal failure as the paint cracking or paint stripping.
5. Do not use for confined space or surfaces that require post finishes or paintings.
6.   Do not clean or treat the sealant with materials, solvents or cleaning agents that may affect or discolor the sealant, particularly during sealant cure.
7. Not for fireproofing seal system.
8.   Not for frost-laden or wet surfaces.
9.   Not intended for food-contact applications.
